Merida eBIG NINE brake pad questions
Before you order.
Which brake pads fit my Merida eBIG NINE?
Match the exact build, model year and caliper name. Select the correct row and check the front and rear brakes. The link opens the compatible pad shape; choose your compound in the shop.
Which Merida eBIG NINE brakes are covered here?
The listed 2026 / 2027 models have verified specifications for: Shimano BR-MT200. Each mapping is shown beside its exact model. It does not automatically apply to other builds in the same family.
Does this also cover a bike bought outside the UK?
The checked sources describe UK-market standard builds. Translation does not change the reference market. For a bike from another market, or one with replacement brakes, compare the actual fitted caliper names.
Is XT, SRAM or the piston count enough to choose a pad?
No. Calipers with the same brand or piston count can need different pad shapes. Check the full caliper model and, if uncertain, compare the shape of the removed pads.
Does the photo prove my Merida eBIG NINE brake specification?
Each photo comes from the linked Merida page for that model and model year. Use the brake specification and fitted caliper to select pads, not the colour or photograph alone.
What if my model or brake is missing?
Search Finder by exact model and year, or search directly by caliper model. If the match is unclear, send Gorilla Brakes photographs of both calipers and the removed pads before ordering.
