Common questions

How to use the guides.

Which brake pads fit my Lapierre?

Select the exact model and year on this page. The linked official specification identifies the original front and rear brakes; each card links to the corresponding pad collection. The family name or rotor diameter alone does not determine pad shape.

Do two-piston and four-piston brakes use the same pads?

Not necessarily. Pad shape depends on the exact caliper, not just the piston count. SRAM Guide/G2 and Guide RE, for example, use different pad families. Use the collection linked to your exact build and check front and rear separately.

Does the photograph identify my exact model year?

Each photo is linked to the official source for the model and year stated on its card. Current product photos and archive catalogue photos are kept separate. A photograph does not prove the brakes still fitted to a used or modified bike, and a model year does not imply current stock.

What if my bike has replacement brakes?

Match the calipers actually fitted to your bike. The manufacturer specification records the original build only. Check front and rear separately and use Find by brake if either has been replaced.

Can the front and rear of a Lapierre bike use different pads?

Yes. Some builds use different calipers or pad shapes at the front and rear, so check both mappings on the exact bike card.
